Just a few hours outside the bustling metroplex of Dallas, one can find a peaceful blueberry farm. Mom, our friend and i got too early ( 4am) just so we can bit the heat and get some picking done. It was a wonderful morning weather, like we ordered it- just below 70 degrees with a light wind, just enough to make branches move to the sound of birds. It is amazing what you can’t hear in the city, you forget the sounds of nature.
It was great day, we had fun at the farm, after we were done, we stop by trade days show and had to have some kabab, it was just a must since we were so close to it-yam. And of course, when we got home, a little nap was in order.
