To the Islands

Back to reality, I am back from vacation and having a bit of a hard time getting back into swing of things.  We went to St.Thomas and it was wonderful.  The weather was gentle even though we were on the outskirts of the hurricane.DSCN2760 DSCN2739RSCN3043wpid-5900195587772898098.jpg

Every day greeted us wish sunshine and wondering iguanas. There are so many of them on the island that at some point you stop noticing them, untill they stair at you when you trying to eat your lunch. DSCN2906 DSCN2965

We did a few fun things like zip lining, visited The Coral Word, and Mountain Top,  but the rest of the time was spent on the beach or by the pool ( I know, that’s just wrong being by the pool when you have the beach).  DSCN2905 DSCN2815 DSCN2777 DSCN2930

One day we did wonder out into town and found this fabulous chocolate place, OMG, it was the best meal on vacation for me-delish.DSCN3125wpid-5900200658014024690.jpg

The town of Charlotte Amalie is charming with its small alleys and iron balconies. DSCN3121 DSCN3033 DSCN3169 wpid-5900200786720967634.jpg wpid-5900191484646494914.jpg wpid-5900200359429820930.jpg

We drove around the island and it was an experience in itself. The signs are operated and directions are useless, you drive on your intuition and preferably on the other side of the road. DSCN3022wpid-5900200824018324514.jpg

I hope that someday we will comeback and enjoy this island all over again
